In present days in society the status of Women is in prior position. Keeping this view in mind Pithubar Girls’ Degree College, Khowang established a Women Cell in June, 2015 for the benefit of women in society. In the cell there is one President, one Coordinator` and other lady faculties are members of the cell.
OUR VISION:
To train and equip women students from economically and socially backward communities with education of the highest quality so that they may lead responsible and purposeful lives and transmit and transform their achievement to the betterment of society.
OUR MISSION:
To empower the young women from all strata of society irrespective of caste and creed so that can be self-dependant and self-reliant.
Functions of Women Cell:
- To work for all-round development of women.
- To empower for the women in society.
- To work for the welfare of women in particular and of the surrounding area in general.
